it-  self. is a series of objects made from poems and found photographs. Each has been scanned front and back.
It is the space between (or the overlap of) the it and the self. Where the found becomes art, the space between (or the overlap of) theft and inspiration. The thing disposed becomes a prism for an idea. Where AI is found-stolen-repurposed by machine, this project is found-stolen-repurposed by hand, translated and duplicated by machine, to be held by hand and read.
